This policy explains how Daily Core News handles advertising, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, and other commercial support while protecting the independence of our journalism.
Daily Core News plans to use Google AdSense after the website is eligible and approved. AdSense is not currently active. Advertising revenue, when introduced, will not give an advertiser control over unrelated editorial decisions.
Editorial and commercial separation
Newsroom decisions are based on public interest, accuracy, relevance, and editorial judgment. Advertisers, sponsors, ad networks, and commercial partners may not purchase favorable coverage, suppress legitimate reporting, preview unrelated stories, or direct our conclusions. Editorial staff should disclose material conflicts that could affect their work.
Google AdSense and programmatic advertising
After activation, Google AdSense may select and display programmatic ads based on factors such as page content, approximate location, device information, advertising settings, and—where permitted—interests inferred by Google or its partners. Daily Core News does not select every programmatic advertisement and the appearance of an ad is not an endorsement of the advertiser, product, service, or claim.
Advertising placements should be visually distinguishable from editorial content and identified with labels such as “Advertisement,” “Ad,” or another clear disclosure. Ads should not be formatted to mislead readers into believing they are newsroom articles, navigation, download controls, or independent recommendations.
Consent and advertising choices
Before AdSense is activated, Daily Core News intends to implement the privacy messages and consent mechanisms Google and applicable law require. Where required by Google for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this includes a Google-certified consent management platform. Depending on location, readers may be offered personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or other privacy choices.
Details about advertising data and controls appear in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Google also explains how it uses information for advertising.
Sponsored and paid content
Content created or published in exchange for payment, services, travel, access, or another material benefit must carry a prominent label such as “Sponsored,” “Paid Content,” or “Presented by.” A disclosure should appear where readers can see it before relying on the content. Sponsored material may be reviewed for accuracy, safety, style, and legal compliance, but it must not be presented as independent reporting.
Affiliate links
If affiliate links are introduced, the relevant page will disclose that Daily Core News may receive compensation when a reader follows a link or makes a purchase. Compensation must not determine an editorial conclusion. Product or service coverage should explain the basis for recommendations and relevant limitations.
Prohibited and restricted advertising
We expect advertising served directly by Daily Core News to comply with applicable law and platform rules. We may reject or seek removal of advertising that is deceptive, discriminatory, malicious, unsafe, sexually exploitative, or designed to impersonate editorial content. Programmatic ads can change automatically; reporting a problematic ad helps us identify it and request review from the provider.
Corrections, complaints, and ad reporting
Advertising complaints do not influence legitimate newsroom coverage. To report a misleading placement, broken ad, inappropriate creative, missing sponsorship disclosure, or potential conflict of interest, use the Contact page. Include the page URL, date, approximate time, country, device, and a screenshot when possible.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when advertising is activated, commercial arrangements change, or new legal and platform requirements apply. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
